Rooms were small but well equipped. Plenty of outlets, mini-refrigerator, microwave, newer TV. The bathroom was clean and had towels & washcloths for all 3 of us. The exterior door did not have a deadbolt. It had a doorknob lock (real key) and a chain.

Motel is clean and staff are friendly. Only one confusing situation with room price. When i booked with Expedia price was $114 per night, when I arrived and paid at front desk some nights price changed to $152. I spoke with Motel owner about pricing and he said that he doesn’t work with Expedia and he can change prices. Please check price and speak with Expedia customer service before you pay or you could lose your money.

The host was super nice when we checked in. There are speakers outside the rooms and he had 70’s light rock playing on low volume until about 7pm, and it was quite lovely. Great place to rest up for a fun day of exploring Alex Bay.
