The out side beauty

The outside of the hotel is phenomenal, it's a paradise. The buffet is delicious, the pool and the sea are unique, everything was spectacular. The only thing was that the room I asked for was non-smoking and it smelled a lot of cigarettes. The bed was too hard, which prevented me from sleeping well. We also spent a night with the air conditioning broken, it was a very uncomfortable and very hot night.

This is our second stay at the Marmara, and we couldn't be happier. The location is excellent, all the facilities are top-notch, and the staff at reception and the restaurant are very nice and friendly. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay, and we'll definitely be coming back.

Mamara hotel was unique for its going around building where we stayed zThe room was was clean .However the breakfast could improve like basic pure orange juice and they only have one type of coffee.

Sadly let down.

The grounds are amazing and clean. Hotel rooms are very average , dated and very basic. Pictures are of rooms and front of hotel are old , nothing like that now. I paid a premium price but was very disappointed with the room and hotel. Breakfast was average too

My trip to Marmara was sadly one of my worst experience. Staff was cold and not very helpful, language was clearly an issue, service was non existent, nothing I can think of was positive, just terrible!

I was stuck in the elevator for 40 minutes, I banged the door, pressed emergency bill constantly and no one came to help. Finally I was rescued, I am a heart patient and diabetes. I asked to talk to General Manager, i ended up speaking with kitchen assistant manger. I am a life time Elite member with Marriott and IHG, never experienced such an issue. I am angry at the hotel manager, I was told he was not in the hotel but he would not even care to call. I could have been dead. I asked for the two nights refund and they would not offer except if i stay for a free night which I could not.

I booked a standard room with city view. Noise issues at night. The bed was uncomfortable and found hair in the sheets. The towels looked yellowish and dirty. Good thing I packed my own towel. Besides the inconveniences, the hotel doesn't allow to bring food or drinks to the bedroom, they don't even want to allow to bring a bottle of water from outside. Instead, they want you to buy food from their overpriced and presumably bad food at their restaurant and "minibar" (a small fridge packed with unhealthy, expired and small sized junk in the room). This hotel is more like a prison or a hospital. Not a place to enjoy your vacation. This rule is not listed on Expedia and it should not take you by surprise. It would be better to call and make sure you have the freedom to eat whatever you want in your own hotel room, without having to fall for their scam.

360 derece dönen odalardan birinde kaldık. Odanın dönmesi hoş fakat odanın içindeki tuvalet ve duşun ayrı bir odada olmasını isterdik. Küvet olayı güzel düşünülmüş fakat dediğim gibi duş ve özellikle tuvaletin odanın içinde sadece cam bölmeyle ayrılmış olması biraz rahatsız ediciydi. Onun dışında ilk gece soda şişesi kırıldı camları elimizden geldiğince topladık ertesi gün odadan çıkarken resepsiyonu aadik odayi temizlemelerini istedikfakat aksamuzeri odaya geldigimizde hala cam kiriklarinin yerde oldugunu fark ettik oda tam anlamiyla temizlenmemisti. Aynı gün zaten odaya girerken odamizin kapisinin tam kitlenmedigini tam karti basarken fark ettik elimizle ittigimizde kapi direkt acildi. Bunun icin resepsiyonu aradik hemen duzelttiler. Otel genel olarak temizdi aslinda ama oda konusunda bu tarz sıkıntılar vardi. Dönen oda yerine direkt deniz goren oda tercih etmeliymisiz en azindan tuvalet ve banyo odadan ayridir diye tahmin ediyorum. Kahvaltisi iyiydi o konuda sorun yasamadik.

Geldiğiniz gün var olan tek plajda bir organizasyon olduğu için saat 17.00’de kapanacağını plaj havlularını alırken ogreniyorsunuz, haydi canınız sikilmasın diye idare etmeye calisip 1 saat bari dinlenmek isterken etrafınız onlarca oraya ait olmayan kişilerin güya hazırlık calismalariyla geçiyor , şantiye gibi . Resmen kalkın gidin diye yüzünüze bakıp rahatsızlik veriyorlar…. Varsa böyle bir şey rezervasyon yapılırken belirtin ayrıca saat 17.00 sonrası ise o saate kadar da orayı şantiyeye cevrirmeyin. Personel konusunda da alınacak çok yol var , eski kalite yok maalesef. Bir dahaki sefere farklı alternatifleri denerim
