This is a traditional terraced Amsterdam building, so it's not as wide open as a purpose built hotel. That just gives it charm. The location is fantastic for exploring Amsterdam.

Great location, beautiful building. The room was small but cozy, the bed and pillows were soft and very comfortable. The staff were helpful, but I wished they were more knowledgeable about transportation to and from the airport. I had to leave on the day of the annual Marathon and the staff didn’t know anything about it.

Nice Sonder hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Amsterdam Sonder. It is situated in a very convenient location, within walking distance of major city landmarks, museums, restaurants, and other attractions. We stayed in a Standard room, which had a relatively spacious layout, good internet, a nice coffee machine, and more. We would stay here again.

The staff is very friendly and helpful and the area is good. Unfortunately the state of the rooms is bad and not worthy of the 4 stars and the money per night. Dirty walls, old everything, very basic room decoration, furniture. Is more like a 2 stars hotel.
