First off, let me just say how breath taking the Windsor is when you walk in! The wood finishes throughout are beautifully preserved. The staff was super nice and helpful! The serves in the two restaurants were awesome, specifically Fred from Rosemary & Thyme! His happy demeanor and over the top professionalism made for a fantastic morning before my training class!
There are only a few cons I have:
-The main one is the smell. I know older, historical buildings can sometimes have a smell that won’t subside or diminish. Unfortunately, the Windsor had the smell of Raid (a roach repellent) and it was quite profound towards the back of the hotel where the rooms are.
-The spooky stories about Emily and Emma are well-known! I would’ve loved a to go on a personal tour of the third floor, and check out the famous room, 333. I was only there for one night so I didn’t have a ton of time. I think offering a quick tour during the week could be beneficial for those of us who won’t get to stay through the weekend.
