Great spot for a family vacation in Tamarindo. Good location, close to town, about 15 minute walk, but secluded from night life and noise. Staff were super friendly. We love playing beach volleyball in the evenings with the entertainment crew.

The property is all inclusive and reasonable priced they bring said the beach isn't swimmable and surfing was not something we chose to do as the water was very rough. That being said, the beach is walkable and you can do all those things there. The food was not the best but we were able to find things to eat

Great location but can’t swim at the beach. It’s too rocky. The staff is great but the service can improve. We didn’t have bathroom tissue, towels and their department closed early every day. The facilities were nice and kept clean. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The only downfall is the food. Yes its a buffet, the food is a 6 out of 10. It didnt have a lot of flavor and they served a lot of the same things for all three meals amd everyday. After about three days you are totally burned out. I was only able to eat at the Italian resturant once. It was a very good experience. The food there is gaood. Overall i would stay there again but only for a few days.

Pros- entertainment, grounds beautiful, staff is friendly for the most part. Lobby area ok. Lots of locals (we like Cons- Food variety was poor. Everyday you will get one selection each of chicken, pork and beef. Rice, beans, salad veggies. That’s it. Don’t eat from the cold meat lines, always flies. Depending on who does the omelette station the ingredients will be left open to flies. Infrastructure, food stations need an upgrade. My room also had a sewage smell.
