Absolutely stunning views! Room was beautiful, as well. Don’t miss out on the hike to the hidden giant sequoia trees!

8/10 Very good

quiet place in the middle of nature but Heidelberg is easy to access with the fubiclaire. We spent a weekend with our family there. The beds were very comfy and the restaurant was good quality as well.

Amazing!! It’s right at the top of funicular train from town, so easy to get to town or back from town. Plenty of parking if you drive and amazing, truly amazing views!! The hiking is top notch down to the Castle, recommend the funicular back up. Rooms are gorgeous, clean, simple, with warm and cozy bedding and towels. Hit the sauna for a very warm warm up.

The hotel is quite lovely. Sits atop a mountain overlooking Heidelberg. Nice restaurant and bar. The funicular train to Heidelberg stops there. I wish I had brought a bike. Very popular for cyclists

Stunning views! Supportive staff! Good eating! Indoor and outdoor seating. Quite during nighttime! Busy daytime outside. Easy access to the cable car! Long line waiting for return from Heidelberg. No priority for hotel guests or disable.

The mountain railway is collocated with the hotel so Heidelberg is easy to visit.

This hotel is built at good location. Therefore, we could have wonderful view. And we could go around simple hiking. This hotel was clean, and staffs were very kindness.

Great hotel

Great hotel, clean with amenities (though we didn’t take advantage as much as we should have). The view of Heidelberg was amazing. Only downside was that it was a little bit of a hike to get to the city, but we knew that going in. The view of the city was amazing though.

Gasthof Konigstuhl, Heidelberg

We had a good stay. The staff were nice. The breakfast was excellent. We are dissatisfied regarding the charge for the breakfast. Firstly, I was under the impression that breakfast for 3 was included in our room booking charge. The hotel said no! But they insisted on charging €20 per day for each room i.e. their charge for 2 persons in each room. But we were only 2 adults and 1 child. Very unfair and probably not right. I do feel cheated! Regards, Kumar Maini

We loved our stay! Breakfast was good and parking was easy. Not free, but easy. Only thing I could say is that we got a balcony room and the person below us smoked on their balcony and it billowed into our room at night even though we had the door/windows closed.

Located at the top of a ridge, the view is spectacular. Somewhat cooler than in town. Limited options for transportation off hours and almost all attractions are not within walking distance. Very nice hotel for adults.
Keith, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

It could have been one of my best stays only if the management was better. Too many vacant rooms but they put most guests on the first floor next to each other. I could hear all the noise and sounds from neighbors and also tourists around the hotel.
Meysam, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Wonderful roof-top sauna, a fine bar, good breakfast. Direct access to the funicular to Heidelberg, but do note the early closing times! The hotel restaurant is large, noisy, and has a limited offering of mainly local dishes. But it is OK.

Breathtaking views.

Absolutely amazing. Views and facilities breathtaking. However, be aware that it can be expensive and require timing to get up and down from the the city if you don’t have a car. Bus is 3.20 euros one way, runs once an hour. Tram is 10 euros one way. It starts at 9 am and last one up is 7:20ish pm. Taxi about 20 euros.
Wendy, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

The hotel is mediocre and we stayed two nights there. The drainage became very smelly in the second night. Definitely not up to standard
2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Lovely hotel, beautifully done, spotlessly clean. The only downside was reception on arrival. When you arrive tired you expect to find someone at reception and not have to wait 5 mins for someone to appear to then tell you they have no booking in your name… which they did! Not very impressed. Also charging €9 per night for parking when there are many spaces just outside hotel.

Café da manhã bom, porém não incluído na diária.
