The Thon Hotel Opera has a fantastic location. It’s right next to the train station so it’s easy to get to the airport by train. This hotel is so conveniently located, right across the street from Oslo Central Station. It's easy to take the airport express train to and from there. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue was that our room contained a used, wet towel when we arrived, but the staff took great pains to correct the issue and even provided us with a free gift to compensate.

The reception staff were super friendly and kind, and I enjoyed the conversation. Like the other guests, I was able to enter my room before 3 p.m. since it was ready. I was able to choose a room with either a shower or a bathtub. There were also slippers and a bathrobe. Breakfast was excellent, too. The hotel is literally right next to the Oslo Central Station. I will come back for my next visit.
