After a mixup with scheduling, my sister and I booked this hotel within a week of the trip. It was relatively cheap compared to other hotels, though you can find rented rooms or condos for similar prices if you book far enough in advance. We got to the hotel, and the guy that checked us in wasn’t exactly rude but not nice either. Just kinda gruff. Okay, no biggie. We got up to the room, and the carpet and furniture had a lot of questionable stains, some brown or reddish in color. The floor was disgusting and obviously had not been vacuumed between guests. There were visible crumbs and dirt clumps on the floor. There was one towel in the room and one wash rag, in a room for multiple guests. The room smelled a little funky, like feet. I know you might think “everyone smells like feet after a long travel day.” Well, this new smell hit us as we walked into the room. The beds were not comfortable, and the sheets were a little gritty. This is not a princess and the pea situation. Maybe it was an over-imaginative delusion because of the floors, but the thought that there was a possibility the sheets were not all the way clean did cross my mind. All things considered, we stayed one night knowing it was too late to find another place on such short notice, then we checked out early the next day and found a new place for the rest of the trip. There wasn’t anyone at the desk to talk to about it.
Though, I will say, the hot water worked great.
