It's an amazing resort full of activities and entertainment, there are sports, music, water parks, trampolines, a nightclub, pool (waterpolo as well), and everything a first level resort should have and more. Service is excelente always with an amazing attitude and disposition, probably the best thing about the hotel and that Is a lot yo say. Finally hats off to the cooks, food is straight up gourmet, with variety and quality. Hard Rock riviera maya Is an experiences every resort lover should live.

We were at Hard Rock with 2 families, 8 people total. 4 adults, 4 kids ranging from 7-13 and we all had a blast. We were there the end of January and it was a real sweet spot that it wasn’t busy, we never had to wait more than 30 mins for dinner any night for all 8 of us, we would get chairs either at the pool or the beach each morning and there were plenty around 8am. It was a lot of fun for all of us, I thought it was very family friendly for all ages. We will be back again.

The room smelled musty and moly, chipped paint all over our terrace balcony, curling in bathroom was all cut open. We had to wait in line to make reservations everyday, not something someone wants to do on vacation. You had restaurants closed on certain days and your front desk staff is rude and unaccommodating. Worse resort I have ever been to will never come back nor will I ever recommend.

Our week-long stay at Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya was disappointing from start to finish. Check-in was delayed by over 90 minutes with no explanation. The first room had a strong musty odor, uncomfortable beds, a barely functional AC, and poor soundproofing through a thin connecting door. Basic necessities like towels and hand soap were missing. After one night, I requested a room change. The front desk manager, Joseph, was unhelpful and falsely claimed the hotel was sold out—despite staff confirming it was largely empty. We eventually accepted a move to a better (but still underwhelming) room after being denied a refund. Dining was no better. We waited over 90 minutes for a table at Toro Steakhouse, only to receive undercooked, cold, and incorrect meals. The buffet at Isla was the only decent option. Then, our room flooded during a storm. After calling for distance 5 times, room service finally came to clean the floor. While some staff were kind, the management was absent and unaccountable. This stay has soured our view of the Hard Rock brand and Mexico resorts in general. I’ll be filing a formal complaint. Avoid Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya. Go elsewhere — you’ll thank yourself.

Old Hotel in urgent need of renovation!

The hotel in general is acceptable, good food, good beverages, service ok... I had a bad experience since I fell and sprained my ankle due to the slippery floors (extremely slippery) in the hallways of the rooms, the medical service was somehow useless due to the high cost of the medical care... The hotel has lots of leaks from their AC system (in lots of places) During my stay I witnessed several falls and was able to observe a high number of people injured either in their arms or feet... not nice to be injured your whole vacation due to unsafety infrastructure... This hotel desperately needs a renovation!!!
