Have you ever seen the Seinfeld episode where he has to explain to the car rental place how reservations work?
This place doesn’t understand how reservations work.
We arrived around midnight after a 10hr drive to be told that we don’t have a room. She SEES the reservation, she tells me, you know, to ease my mind. But there’s just no room. We had already been waiting in the lobby ten minutes trying to figure out where the staff was.
Turns out, as she explained helpfully, she was checking the empty dirty rooms to see if one was passable. They were not. But … she did invite me kindly to come see it for myself and maybe I wouldn’t mind it. I can’t make this ish up you guys.
Once I convinced her to call another quality inn, she let us know they aren’t answering the phone so we need to go somewhere else.
Wish I could give you a review of the comfort of the room, but it just wasn’t in the cards you guys.
