Good hotel with a great breakfast. Very well located for seeing the sights in Bergen. Our only complaint was that there was constant noise from a generator or similar both day and night. Based on our room location, the recommendation would be to ask for a room facing the road rather than located to the rear of the hotel.

We had a good one night stay at the Scandic Torget hotel. Small, clean, quiet room. AC didn’t work, but the front desk sent up a fan that made sleeping a lot more comfortable. This is the best hotel in Bergen when combining the price, location and the cleanliness of the hotel. All the main things to do and hikes in Bergen are walkable distance away. The tram from the airport takes you to only 5min walk from the hotel. The view to Fløyen from the breakfast room is amazing.

Rooms are clean but quite small. There are few if any amenities. There were no shelves to put our clothes or anything to place our suitcases on. Had to live "off the floor" for three days. Very inconvenient and uncomfortable. Though a very very small room, there was a way to put in a shelf to hold some clothes and set luggage on so if have to live out of suitcase, don't have to get on the floor to get anything out of your suitcase. Breakfast is good. Location is very good. Staff was excellent. Room cleaning is minimal.
