Great location on the water with beautiful views of the surrounding area. Well maintained property with clean comfortable rooms. A couple of wonderful restaurants, both with open air seating. Friendly, helpful staff throughout. Only downsides are there is no daily housekeeping (although amenities are readily available through the front desk or delivered to your room), and the surrounding boardwalk is closed because of some legal dispute between the city and the resort (making it cumbersome to enjoy the water, and to get between Manteo and the Eldorado).

My husband, daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. The only issue I would say we had was when booking there was only the option of 2 queen beds and having a toddler we preferred a king which was unavailable when booking. When we got to the hotel we asked and they had one but wanted to charge $52/night so we ended up with the 2 queen. The cleaning staff was really nice and gave us whatever we needed. The staff around the property were really friendly and helpful
