Really lovely property in a a great location near the centre of town and an easy walk to the beach and ferry. Staff were helpful and friendly, the room exceeded expectations and was very spacious and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and lush with a great pool. Would absolutely stay again!

This hotel was more than what I expected. I got more of an apartment than a room. It had a a big living room. The bed was very comfortable and had many pillows. The room and common areas were clean. The pool area was nice and rooftop was amazing for sunrise and sunset. Staff was very friendly and helpful with my questions. It’s 4 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from the central area.

Overall very good value, the room was very spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable also! The A/C worked amazing and the staff very friendly and welcoming. The only complaint I have was that the bathrooms by the pool were very dirty. Though I believe it probably is not the norm based on the cleanliness of the property and rooms, pool included. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the beach and the town square. The Wi-Fi was OK at best, which is normal in Holbox, a remote island. It makes for a great place to relax and enjoy the Island and disconnect from everything at home.

Great place actually! But they try to get money for a key I dropped as I was rushing to the ferry at 6am, my son dropped the key in the dark as there was no light at all I thought they would find it but said they didn't! Which seams very sketchy!!! And try to charge me for this!!

Love this property!!

We love staying at Tropical Suites by MIJ! It is our go to hotel on the island when we bring our 9yo son. We get our own bedroom and he gets to sleep on a pull out sofa, which he loves! The rooms are HUGE so there is lots of space for our luggage without it getting in your way. Air conditioning works great! Pool was nice for the kids after a long day at the beach. Location us PERFECT!!!! Easily walkable to town square. Cons: Only thing i would want is somewhere to put a rental bike! They don't allow bikes past the front door. But having a little area for people to put a bike to lock up inside the property would be beneficial. There is space to park a golf cart outside the front door which is nice.

INCREÍBLE la habitación, la verdad le tenía poca fé ya que era mi primera vez en holbox y veía muchos malos comentarios en varios hoteles y al final me decidí por la Palma y no me arrepiento en lo absoluto, será mi hotel a partir de ahora cada que visite holbox, es céntrico ya que caminando esta a unas cuadras del centro, enfrente esta un restaurante con pizza deliciosa y te lo llevan hasta tu habitación, la cama super cómoda, cuenta con agua caliente, wifi, frigobar y para calentar agua, la habitación que renta contaba con dos aires acondicionado asi que la habitación siempre estaba fresca el baño cuenta con ventilador le da un plus! La piscina es grande y super a gusto puedes estar nadando ahí. En general vale la pena tu estancia.

Remote Retreat

A great location to stay in Holbox, just far away from the main square to be quieter, but still only a 2-3 min walk away from it. Spent some time working remote, and the wifi worked great, and even reached to the open air roof. Front desk staff was helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable

La propiedad está bastante bonita, es limpia, aún que no pasaron a hacerme el aseo las primera noche que estuve ahí. Todo el tiempo estuve en contacto con Emmanuel el chico de recepción, estuvo al pendiente de mi llegada y me hizo varias recomendaciones, siempre muy atento y muy amable! Lo malo es que el baño a veces no baja agua y una vez se nos tapó (no echamos papel ni nada) , por otro lado la terraza está bonita pero bastante descuidada estaría padre que la arreglaran y que ofrecieran desayuno o snacks :)

Tuve una estadía increíble. El destacado fue el servicio del equipo del hotel, siempre atentos para dar recomendaciones, solicitar taxis y, en general, muy amables. Estuve viajando sola y me sentí muy acogida. Las instalaciones también están súper lindas, todas las habitaciones con vista a la piscina. ¡Sin duda, volvería!

Great for familes

We truly appreciated the Family Room. Two nice and comfy bedrooms with 3 beds total, a massive living and dining area (no stove but with microwave and big fridge). It had very hot water in the bathroom and the pool was old but wonderful. In general it’s dated but functional and nice. I do with they provided more utensils and plates in the family rooms. This would make a big difference. We left some behind for the next family, which hopefully will be helpful.

El hotel es muy bonito, se ve justo como en las fotos! La habitación amplia y cómoda. El baño muy amplio y limpio. La cama muy cómoda, dormimos muy bien. La ubicación está genial, llegamos caminando del muelle donde llega el ferry en 8 minutos aprox. Personal muy amable. Excelente relación calidad-precio. Me gustó mucho!

El lugar no es malo para una o dos noches básicas, la piscina sucia y descuidada, NO esta como la venden en las fotos, se rescatan las chicas de limpieza muy lindas y haciendo su trabajo .. el tema fue el último día pedí más tiempo para salir, pregunté obvio el costo y lo pague sin tema, a los minutos yo estando en la playa instalado me mensajeó el encargado para decirme que había cometido un error era el doble de lo que me había cobrado “ era casi lo que valía una noche completa y solo requería 3 horas para cuadrar mi salida de la isla “ argumentando que el era nuevo y el gerente le comento que sino regresaba en ese momento y pagaba sacarían mis cosas ya de la habitación, siendo las 11:30am en teoría aún era mi habitación, no tenían porque entrar a ella, que pasara por ellas recepción y para no tener temas termine pagando pero no regresaría jamás al hotel ..!

Nos encantó el hotel, rodeado de vegetación, muy bonito, limpio y bien cuidado. La piscina es de excelente tamaño, y las habitaciones son increíblemente cómodas. Desde el primer momento, Emmanuel nos brindó una atención excepcional. Llamé antes de nuestra llegada, y él se mostró muy amable y servicial. Hizo los ajustes necesarios para que pudiéramos quedarnos en una habitación familiar sin necesidad de cambiarnos al día siguiente, lo cual fue un detalle que realmente apreciamos. Además, nos permitieron ingresar al hotel antes de la hora del check-in y pudimos disfrutar del área de la piscina mientras tanto. La habitación fue perfecta para nuestra familia: muy amplia y cómoda, como un departamento completo con dos habitaciones, baño, sala, comedor y cocina. Éramos cuatro, pero fácilmente caben más personas. Las camas y almohadas eran extremadamente cómodas, incluso los sofás cama nos sorprendieron por su comodidad. En el rooftop, se puede disfrutar de una vista espectacular de la isla, y tienen un librero con platos, vasos, y otros utensilios que se pueden usar en la habitación, lo cual fue un plus. Tanto Emmanuel como Nayeli estuvieron siempre atentos a nuestras necesidades, respondiendo todas nuestras dudas con una actitud inmejorable. Sin duda, volveremos en nuestro próximo viaje.
