This was a fairly nice stay for a couple of nights. The hotel staff is very friendly and the breakfast was good. The rooms and the building itself definitely need some updates. Thankfully we were on the 5th floor because the 1st and 2nd floors smelled of cigarette smoke due to a lot of people smoking outside.

They were out of coffee 8 minutes before I he breakfast was closing. Resulting in several guests not getting their morning coffee. Multiple guests asked for more coffee, but was told there was no more. You could really see the disappointment in their eyes. In my opinion this is just poor service overall from the breakfast staff. And really downgrading the breakfast experience from «ok» to «disappointing». I tend to choose hotel reservations based on a few of factors. One of them being the rated hotel breakfast. Scandic is usually known for having a good breakfast. However, this experience was just really disappointing and a frustrating start of the day.

Our party of 3 booked two separate rooms, but were given a single room with a fold-out sofa. Front desk staff could not resolve it, and we're awaiting a reaponse from the hotel. They also had no record of the guest who tried checking-in right before us. He had to provide his paperwork as proof of the reservation.
