Perfect Stay for Grandparents – Accessible, Warm & Welcoming Booked a stay here for my grandparents and they were overjoyed. The hotel was clean, peaceful, and easy to get around, with great accessibility throughout. Great location, lovely surroundings, love the spa cafe and the coconut lattes! Nice big comfy bed. Things which made me reduce my star rating to good instead of excellent: I’ve stayed with you a total of twelve nights this month due to my best friend have terminal illness and then passing away, so my summary of things to improve have been things I’ve consistently found on each stay: Pillows a bit flat, no room bar fridge, room service didn’t answer on two of my stays. Not a great range of food in your room service menu. No discount for my further stays which I had to book after the initial stay in march. Window wouldn’t close on current stay in 445. However, I will be back in July and stay again, as overall my stays with you have been delightful and these are small things in the bigger picture. Thanks again! X

Lovely grounds and spa. Food at barneys brasserie was good. Service was poor and staff attitude was awful. We were made to feel really uncomfortable. Room was basic and a little dated. The was a large stain on the mattress protector. We were provided with the wrong room on arrival. Air con was very loud. We couldn’t open the window as there was a loud fan/bleeping noise. Room was very stuffy. We did not sleep well. Spa facilities were great but loungers outside in spa area were dirty and wet.

Had a lovely stay with my daughter it was last minute so only managed to book 2 spa treatments but they were both fantastic. The hotel is beautiful however prices at the bar were a little expensive for what you got and their choice of cocktails was limited. Breakfast was lovely and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
