Ragai was wonderful and very accommodating to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Hotel and pool were clean and our room was larger than usual which made it comfortable for our longer stay. The indoor pool and hot tub were clean and we enjoyed some quiet time relaxing in the pool area after walking around throughout the day. The hotel is very close to many sights and amazing restaurants! Thank you!

hotel is in the downtown, so you can walk everywhere from there. The hotel needs maintenance but the rooms are comfortable. Staff were nice and friendly.There were no towels on the pool.

Pros and Cons

It was okay in general. The rooms and lobby are nicely updated, but it is very clearly an old property as evidenced by the very old elevator. We were not asked to provide a photo ID or credit card at check in which seemed questionable. Breakfast was standard (waffle maker, bagels, pastries, eggs, sausage, yogurt, fruit), though the milk was very spoiled. Parking is free, located in downtown, and we could see Lake Michigan from our room on the fourth floor.

It was a nice stay except for the homeless people hanging around the building and some of them coming inside and taking food when the staff were busy.

Seems the local residents have set up a smoking lounge in an area right outside of the entrance to the hotel. We were concerned for safety. Also concerned for the safety of our vehicle in the parking lot. Staff was okay…but why accommodate the locals setting up shop outside? Not a good location for families.

Use products to clean and disinfect surface areas. The parking lot had cars who did not stay at the hotel. Finding a parking spot was a problem. The hotel should hand out parking permits and remove vehicles who don’t belong there. The hotel personal were nice and kind.

Convenient location. Older hotel but remodeled. Very small bathroom, difficult to move in. There was hair in the drain and stains on the sheets.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff also works a convenient store across the street so there isn't anyone at the front desk. You have to call to have them come over. The elevator is very old and was last certified in 2014 which raises serious concerns about safety.
