The Anchorage is an excellent accommodation- it certainly exceeds their official four star rating. The staff are friendly, the facilities great for families, the beach is conveniently by the premise. I also loved the small touches - the complimentary watermelon at the adults only pool and the small gift at check out. I am planning on returning.

A boutique classy establishment in a fantastic spot that is well worth it. Maybe more expensive than other places but from the welcome champagne, the excellent service and amazing food it’s worth it! Comfortable beds, fantastic bathroom with rain shower, happy hour and two pools… Will definitely return!

The facilities were disappointing for property that charge almost $1000 per night - no gym and no access to the overpriced spa unless a treatment was booked. Wanted to use the sauna and jacuzzi and was prepared to pay for that and was not allowed eventhough it was not in use. Property looks fine but overpriced for what you get during a mid week stay. There was a large corporate function so unfortunately had to pay the full rate and was charged additional for a small upgrade. Breakfast was good and birthday chocolates were appreciated. Next time I would only stay with a Luxury Escape package, it’s much better value.

Shame about the faulty aircon

Massive shame that the aircon in the loft suite did not work and made a shrieking noise while trying, as for summer it’s a necessity in those high rooms as they get to high 20’s in temp - made sleep under a fan only near unbearable. Everything else amazing. Breakfast sensational. Pools. Service outstanding.

Our family thoroughly enjoys Anchorage. We have had the pleasure of visiting multiple times and each visit has left us feeling as if we were right at home. The exceptional service received from the staff creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Beyond the impeccable service, the unbeatable view adds a touch of elegance to our stay. The receptionist, in particular, stands out for their friendliness and even offers a refreshing beverage while waiting for check-in. Without a doubt, we will be returning to Anchorage in the future.

A piece of Heaven on Earth

We had a wonderful time at the Anchorage. Our room was towards the end of the boardwalk which gave us an amazing outlook from our room. We had great weather and wonderful sunsets. Breakfast had everything you could dream of eating and beautifully presented. A second comfortable chair would be really nice as dining chairs not comfortable for casual sitting [reading]. A beautiful place to chill out and enjoy the surroundings.
