Clean welcoming with delicious breakfast

My family had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and inviting. The breakfast was delicious with many options daily from fresh eggs to home style waffles. The pool was clean and a place where many guest relaxed after spending time in the nearby parks. Our room was spectacularly clean, the housekeeping definitely takes pride in their work and it shows. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re traveling to starved rock or Matthiessen state parks.

We did not arrive until 10:30. The gentleman that checked us in was very nice! He gave us some info for the next day, gave us an extra blanket when requested. Breakfast was good and better than a lot of other places we’ve stayed at. Our room was very room, air worked great, and bathroom large. Would definitely stay again

Great stay!

We came through in our RV. We booked a room so we could use the pool and shower comfortably. We were able to have a little fun and rest at night. In the morning we had the breakfast and everything was great. There was a Hispanic man there that was very attentive to all the food and people. We really enjoyed our stay.

We’ve stayed in this hotel before and it was fine. The main problem this time is that I reserved a non-smoking room (are there still smoking rooms?) and I have young kids, and the room was filled with cigarette smoke stench. The odor was strong enough to give me a headache. Other than that, oglesby is a nice place to stay on a long road trip, and the hotel was otherwise clean and fine, just a bad room this time around.

This is a nice, newer facility in a very convenient location for an overnight stay on my way from Florida to Wisconsin. Due to bad weather, I stayed a second night and had a chance to visit the pool area, which is also very nice, although the hot tub was closed. The room, staff, full breakfast were all very pleasing.

This facility is newer and is clean, pleasant and in good repair. The location is excellent for a snowbird headed back to Wisconsin with ample parking for my 22 foot van The only drawback was, while the pool was open, the hot tub was closed. Nice full breakfast.
