Our room wasn’t cleaned properly, we found a pair of socks beside one of the beds. The dishes in the cupboard had food on them. There was a child's toy on the floor. The area around the hotel looks like it was beautiful ten years ago but the grounds had trash lying about. The lobby was pleasant and the staff were nice.

The location was fine. The accommodation was ok. They told us that the rugby would be on in the bar/restaurant on Sunday morning, so we llanned to watch it there. Turns out "the tv was broken"... we are pretty confident in guessing they didnt have sky sport, and thats why they werent showing it. Dont appreciate being lied to.

Expecting a modern furnished two bedroom apartment, it wasn’t. Stains on sofa. Bathroom smelt like men’s urinal that hasn’t been cleaned properly. Smell drifts into the lounge and one of the bedrooms. No hand wash or extra toilet paper in bathroom. Had booked for two nights but left after the first night because of the smell and itchiness from the carpet. I wouldn’t call this place a Hotel it was more of an Motel or Inn. I wasn’t happy that I had to spend extra money to book at another accommodation.

We decided to stay here for old time's sake as we stayed for 7 weeks 10 years ago while our new house was being finished. What a disappointment! While the rooms have had a modest refresh, the service and quality has significantly dropped. The restaurant staff were cheerful but inattentive, left us sitting with a table of dirty dishes for over an hour and didn't check in for drink refills. They spent most of their time out on the deck together smoking. At 6pm we asked for coffee and were told they close the machine at 5pm. They offered no alternative and told us they were dead serious. My friend found brush bristles in her salad and they kindly provided a new salad which was appreciated.
