I checked in last night (late Wednesday night/early Thursday) around 12:30 am local time. Kris was very helpful in getting me checked in and settled. What followed however was not acceptable.
We went to room 16, and it was absolutely filthy. The sheets (see pictures) were very dirty and gross. I had to ask myself, would anyone from management want themselves or their family to stay here tonight?
The smell was not good. The bathroom walls were filthy. The baseboards were not clean. It was honestly so unpleasant I called 8 different hotels to see if there were any other options at 1am. After having everything else booked, I stayed. It was such a disappointing experience after a long day of air travel from out of state.
I can deal with a dated hotel, but this was absolutely unacceptable with filthy sheets and not clean room.
I would request a full refund for the nights stay and that will be the end of it. Otherwise, I will be writing a full detailed Google Review, Yelp, Hotel.com, and other content on social media. To be charged an outrageous rate for such a terrible experience is just disappointing.
Kris was very helpful and kind so please thank him for his support. I will be waiting to hear back.
