Unfortunately it was not pleasant. The clerk would not check us in early and made us wait till 3 pm. The room was average. No tissue Box. Bathroom sink back up and water took sliw to go down. I have stayed at this place before and was fine. The sports bar was closed. The attached cafe was closed.

The staff was extremely rude. The receptionist was on the phone and he took his sweet time to acknowledge me. He would not stop talking on the phone for a second to tell me to give him a minute or two to finish his phone call. We he was talking to a coworker. He barely made eye contact to and never excused himself for taking long to acknowledge. He never smiled. He made feel as if I was a vagrant. The staff made feel as I I didn’t belong there. I’m an American citizen but I’m Guatemalan descendant. The service was horrible the minute I entered the hotel nobody greeted me. There was a group of workers by the entrance and they didn’t say anything. I took the initiative to say hello. They have been conditioned to think that only individuals of European origin or white people have money to be there. I had to beg to buy a beer but a white individual and his companion asked for alcohol and it was sold to them right away. I was told it was too late. I had to negotiate with the guy to sell mw a beer but the white guy got his alcohol right away. That’s is so sad.
