It was good for the price. I don’t book at Red Roof with the expectation of a five star hotel. I expect kinda bare minimum. There’s no bugs, mattresses both had mattress protectors on them, hot water, AC/heat worked, tv worked. Bed wasn’t terrible but wasn’t the best ever, pretty middle of the road. The neighborhood seemed safe enough to me personally, lots of food options in walking distance, right off the interstate. No sketchy individuals. Check in was hassle free. They were able to accommodate my request for a downstairs room bc I had knee surgery. Only cons I had was the bathroom door doesn’t have a lock, the tub drained kinda slow, I thought the whole room was hardwood flooring but it also has carpeting at the door and between the beds, the ceiling had water damage & spots where the spackling (I think that’s what it’s called) is hanging down, the outlets of the bedside table were super wide so all my chargers were just falling out immediately, and my towel had stains on it. Great room for a quick one night stay, depending on how high maintenance you are, but I would definitely come back.
