Could not find the place and had to take another

The taxi driver could not find the place based on the hotel name and address. We reached a hotel with the exact same name, but they said they are not the one (and it didn't look like it). After spending a lot of time in the middle of the night, I took another hotel.

The property has changed names and was very difficult to find - even for a native taxi driver who also spoke English. Mr. Henry had offered to pick us up at the airport, but then wanted us to call him when we arrived. But we didn't have a local SIM card, there weren't any local businesses to help us call (from domestic arrivals), and my computer could not connect to the airport free Wi-Fi. However, Mr Henry was otherwise friendly. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

Couldn't stay at the hotel without refund.

I made a reservation of this hotel but the entrance doors were closed and nobody was seen at the reception. The neighbourhood residents helped me and found out that the owner has changed. I was told that the owner would come to see me in ten minutes but he/she didn't appear. I gave up and found another hotel nearby and paid for an overnight stay. The hotel was neither convenient nor friendly. Why did they accept my reservation first of all??

So, we booked this hotel for a stopover, however, without being advised of such and not realising until the following morning (we arrived very late) we had actually been taken to a different hotel so this is the one I’m reviewing! We had arranged a taxi to collect us to take us to our next destination and it was while waiting I suddenly realised that it was in fact not where we were supposed to be! Spoke to the guy at the hotel who explained that we couldn’t stay at the hotel we had booked so were taken there, he was very helpful though in that he contacted our driver to get him to collect us, albeit an exchange on the freeway!

I had a super early flight so decided to stay close to the airport on my final day - this place was great for that purpose. The staff was friendly and helpful. He set everything up for my 5 am car pick up to the airport. The room was spacious and clean. There was a lot of noise coming from outside so if you are light sleeper like me, you may have some issues with sleeping - music, cars, chickens, etc. It's a good place to stay if you need to be close to the airport but wouldn't recommend it as your main stay during your trip - not a lot going on in the surrounding area.

You refused to allow me to check in. Even though I showed you my booking confirmation and they agreed in was the right hotel. Whoever I dealt with last night couldn’t speak any English besides telling saying “no booking, no booking” while waving his finger in my face. I believe your hotel is a scam. Instead of trying to help me, you had a group of your friends in the lobby, laughing at me because I was struggling to communicate even through translator. I would not recommend your hotel to anybody. I filed a claim against you to Expedia and to my credit card company. THIS HOTEL IS A SCAM!! I was rufused check in even after showing him my booking confirmation and using a translator app. DO NOT STAY HERE! You might show up and they wouldn’t check you in or help you.. they’ll just scream at you “no booking no booking!!”
