Excellent stay by the Beach!

Stayed at the Oberoi for 5 nights and had an amazing experience here. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff at the resort, they go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The villa style rooms make it feel more private- we had a wonderful room with the patio. The resort is in walking distance to Seminyak square and has a shuttle service to take you there and back on a pre set schedule. Breakfast variety was varied, a la carte options for western/asian tastes provided great options- I can say we tried most items on their menu and were not disappointed! Overall a fantastic and memorable stay at this resort.

The age and the size of the property on the beachfront. Very little left of Old Bali. If you want bling, don’t stay there. If you want to experience the best of Bali, then do stay. The staff are wonderful and do whatever you need for a restful stay

I enjoyed the friendly staff. Every day I had a pleasant conversation with a staff member, such as at breakfast or at the pool. I enjoyed ordering a healthy breakfast in the outdoor breakfast area. I enjoyed going for a swim in the large pool and working on in the small gym. I enjoyed having a nice drink in the evening at the bar.

An old establishment with beautiful regional architectures! Even the room shows minor age from the time, I personally still prefer local flare than ultra modern hotels. One thing of disappointment was the water quality of the beach. I preferred not to step into ocean in front of the hotel! But the pool was fantastic!
