Quiet and peaceful, with excellent and friendly staff. Walking distance to Fisherman’s Village, without the sounds of it being on your doorstep. Our room, with its own pool, was only 50m from the beach, following a gorgeous tree lined pathway. Highly recommended.

Love Karma

We loved staying at Karma. The service was good, and the beach was great. The bathrooms in the villas are outdoors and beautiful; a fan can make it a bit more pleasant when using the bathroom. We would stay there again.

Villa had wow factor!

We stayed in a Jogglo villa, which was amazing! It had the wow factor as well as all the practicalities we needed. All the staff were super friendly and the in-villa smartphone is a great idea for making requests and communicating - and the response time was exceptional! The Bose Bluetooth speaker and complimentary spirits were also thoughtful additions which enhanced our experience. The lead up/entrance to the resort lets it down but once in reception, or the other-side of the concrete wall in the oasis of the resort, it all makes up for it. The fixed breakfast options were good however if staying longer this would have felt very restrictive. Location is good for access to restaurants and massages etc, and Fisherman's village is just a 10 min walk via road or beach

I brought my family to Karma Resort for two weeks and we had the best time! The staff make you feel like you've stepped into a vacation with extended family. Everyone was gracious, accommodating as well as funny and relaxed. We enjoyed getting to know the staff among the beautiful setting. Incredible place right on the ocean, with a pool, spa, outdoor massages and great food. The resort is small in a great way. The bungalows are spacious and very zen as is the entire resort. We walked to the Fisherman's Market several times where you can find any kind of food and shopping. The beach walk is gorgeous. I highly, highly recommend this resort for you and your family!

Karma is extremely picturesque, the design and detail throughout the resort is outstanding. Staff are willing to help, and very attentive. Rooms are beautiful - we recommend booking one with a private plunge pool as this was the perfect place to cool off. Spa services were quite expensive, but there is a cheaper option for massages just in front of the pool. Pool itself was perfect, with comfy options for lounging and a great ambience set by the resorts constant music. Restaurant and breakfast was satisfactory, nothing crazy - but good. But the view and vibes from the restaurant was very relaxing. Overall, you definitely get what you pay for here.

Reality is different from pictures

Deluxe room with terrace was selected The terrace was completely useless as there was water from the rain everywhere When we informed the reception, they told us that it needed maintenance, and they asked us to change the room and asked us to pay more or to pay less, knowing that the problem was theirs. Also, the consultation takes five minutes and it stops working Breakfast was not good at all After paying for the massage, I asked for an additional amount because the person who did the massage changed to another type without informing me that there was a difference in the price, knowing that she does not speak English. Also, when asking the receptionist about the nearby places, she mentioned that there is nothing nearby, knowing that when requesting a taxi, he told us that we can walk to the fishermen’s village through the beach. Personally, I liked the decor taken from Indonesian culture But it needs a lot to make the stay comfortable

Best Resort in Koh Samui! The Karma Resort is a beautiful place to stay at. The Location is directly at the beach and close to Fishermans Village. It is super quiet but within 15 Minutes you can walk to Fishermans Village or take a taxi to Chaweng. The room has its very own and special design which makes you feel directly comfortable and cozy. The entire hotel has a boho-indonesian inspired style. Every single part is very beautiful and compared to other hotels unique. Before booking this hotel you should like these style of hotels because it will appear in every single room. The Food is amazing. There was not even one single dish or drink, which we did not like and enjoy. We prefered to eat here than outside. There are plenty of services which you can call for a very cheap price such as taxis and laundry. The best about this resort is their staff. Every single person is overwhelming friendly and helpful. No matter if you meet staff from the restaurant, reception, spa or housekeeping. They made our stay perfect! The reception is very well trained and competent. The Reception Ladies always try help us and were super committed. I had some of the best massages, while listening to the oceans waves, at the beach for a very fair price! The restaurant team is extraordinary! The always knew exactly what you need and made every single wish come true. If you stay in Koh Samui this would be the best resort to stay at.

Beautiful resort but it is open for public use too

It is a beautiful resort and we did enjoy our stay very much but it does have some quite strong negatives too. We went away as a couple and as its a boutique hotel we were quite surprised by the amount of children there. Very noisy children. The biggest negative is that people can just come in and use the pool and sunbeds, which really should be for paying guests, therefore some days you come back after a day out and there is no room by the pool. The hotel bar and restaurant appears to be a club house for french visitors who are not staying at the hotel and they take over a large area of the pool area. We found quite often you are relaxing by the pool then suddenly big crowds arrive and the pool is suddenly full of unattended children and lots of toys. You couldnt get in even if you wanted to. We would go back to our room earlier than we would have liked just to get some peace. For such a small resort it seems unfair to the guests who have paid to stay to feel unwelcome by the pool. The rooms are superb and the shower was amazing. We liked having our own small pool to cool down especially, as sometimes it was our only option as there was no spaces by the main pool. The ladies on reception were so friendly and helpful as was the lovely lady in the restaurant. We enjoyed our holiday very much as you are near the fisherman's village and short cab rides to other great places on the island but I was disappointed by the lack of courtesy given to the residents in the hotel.

Et virkelig fint ophold. Flot værelse, gode faciliteter og med rimelig afstand til fishermans village. Det eneste minus var mængden af udefrakommende gæster på et one-day pass som gjorde pool området lidt crowded.

Perfect Stay

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience here! We even tried to stay an extra night but they didn’t have availability. The resort was in excellent condition and the staff were always friendly. Having the restaurant right there was so convenient! My only recommendation would be for the resort to get plastic cocktail cups… you cannot take glass into the pool (understandably so), but would’ve been nice to have the option.

写真通りの素晴らしいホテル。部屋に案内された瞬間、すぐに気に入りました。部屋のプールも清潔で、とても良かった。仕方ないかもしれないがバスルームの洗面台に小さな蟻が少しだけ列を成していた。バスルームに設置されたアロマに反応している様子だったが、私が持ってきたバス用品にも蟻が来てしまった。置きっぱなしにしたタオルにも蟻が付いたようで、使った時に身体を噛まれたような感覚があった。ホテルのレストランは最高で、おいしい。海やプールを眺めるには最高のロケーションだった。目の前のビーチは泳げるけど、綺麗ではなく残念ながら透明感が無かったので一度しか泳がなかなったが、ビーチェアとパラソルがあるので、季節が違えば透明度の高い海に入れたのかもしれない。滞在中にスパに行き、ホットストーンの施術を受けたが、石が熱すぎた。チェックアウト時に、早朝にホテルを出なければならずフロントの営業が朝7時〜だったので、前日に精算を済ませた。朝食ボックスを用意すると言われたが、私は英語が理解出来ておらず、実際チェックアウト時にはフロントには誰もいなくて、鍵も何処に返せば良いか分から無かったので、部屋にそのまま置いてきた。作ってくれた朝食が、無駄になってしまったのは申し訳無かった。

Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen – das gesamte Team war über unseren gesamten Aufenthalt hinweg zuvorkommend, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war modern, gemütlich und sehr sauber. Besonders gefallen hat uns das Hoteldesign, welches überall bis ins Detail zu finden war.
