The room was long overdue for a major haul. The furnishings nasty & pretty scary to touch or use. The chair in the room was black the bed coverings were outdated & looked like they had plenty of DNA on them. The microwave that sat on the refrigerator was welded together and I wouldn't put any food in either one. The Staff at the property was not personable or professional. I would never stay at this property again if it was the last motel standing in Tallahassee!!! Thank you, Monica Y Williams

Bugs and splatter from some mystery dark matter

We found the staff to be attentive upon our arrival and had fresh coffee in the morning. There were several (multiple) bugs in our room (room and bathroom) as well as rust in the bathroom, the bathroom door was needing to be repaired or replaced, and the bathroom walls were dirty (had splatter from some mystery dark matter).

Well, there was a definitely lots of security in that parking lot from policeman across the street at the market. They had security guards with weapons. Everybody wanted a $10 cover charge just to walk in and get a drink. But that was the surroundings. Overall, the hotel was fine. The room was fine and the housekeeper was very courteous and nice to talk to.

Need painting outside, Concrete stairs need pressure cleaning as well as the side walks. Floors inside room needs to be sweep and moped, has bugs on floor. Could use new furniture to update the looks of the room. Not enough light to put on make-up properly. I always travel with my own lighting system for make up, but should not be necessary.
