Nice hotel

A nice stay for two days in Hamburg. Close to buses and trains for a ride to the city central. Extra plus that it’s free to charge your electric car when you pay for parking

Cleaning: We requested cleaning service every other day. However, the room has been properly cleaned only the day prior departure. In between, instead of proper cleaning, we received only fresh towels, paper replenishment, and small arrangements. No proper vacuuming, dusting or bathroom cleaning. Reception: Payment issue which we were not informed about during check-in. As opposed to informing us, the staff locked us out of our room after the second night without prior notice. No email, no text, no note on the door. The staffs’ manner (the russian speaking receptionist) of tackling the situation is unacceptable, especially for hospitality industry. It was our second stay there, which was also our last.

Rooms quite small. But for the price paid, offers great value, and can't complain at the quality of the rooms, all the staff were very helpful, and breakfast was both a wide selection, and very nice

Room was full with smoke and cold - without heat, when arriving, window open, Wlan code was displayed wrong on TV => thus no internet, personal said problem was widely know, but remained unsolved, due to overheads not listening, heating was not properly working, could be in general a proper location for a basic stay, if problems would be ustainably solved

Don´t get me wrong, this is a nice hotel. Trendy and up to date. Self check-in works well, well-appointed room with all amenities. There was some damage at the door on the inside, i thought that this quiet time could have been used to fix minor problems like that. Maybe a question of communication between housekeeping and maintainance? There is no real restaurant in the hotel but for the tired and hungry traveller who arrives late (such as myself) there is friendly bar staff who offer various pizzas and they are good. So that was another travel inconvenience that Super8 took away, thanks for that guys. Also, good beer recommendation. The only issue i had was sleep. The pillows just seem to thin or perhaps they were filled with some other stuffing than down or feathers. I kept waking up in an uncomfortable position with both arms tingling. Mattress / pillow / sleep temperature etc. are personal things, perhaps it is only me. If the hotel would improve the pillows i would come back every time. It´s a fine hotel with good staff in a good area, and a happy place to spend the night. Compliments to the reception and bar staff who seem to understand the concept of hospitality.

Das Zimmer war sauber, allerdings war es sehr hellhörig. Samstag morgens 7 Uhr wurden wir durch Möbel hin und herrücken geweckt. Wenn die Toilette in Nachbarzimmer genutzt wurde bzw wenn diese geschrubbt wurde war leider auch laut hörbar. Das „Doppelbett“ waren zwei einzelne Betten die zusammen geschoben wurden, allerdings waren sie nicht sehr standhaft und so entstand immer eine Lücke zwischen den Betten. Unten im Bistro gibt es nur Fertiggerichte für relativ hohe Preise. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Det var et okay hotel. Vi manglede ikke noget, men skulle gå ret langt til u-bahn. Sengen var ikke helt komfortabel, men ellers rent værelse.

Et fint hotel. Værelset var fint rent. Parkeringskælder noget trang. Beliggenhed lidt besværlig i forhold til offentlig transport (også grundet vejarbejde)
