Hotel in an old bakery

Nice, clean, centrally located hotel. Interesting space in a former bakery built in 1897. Breakfast great in a cool room by the old baker’s ovens. Only minuses were that wiiFi was unapologetically down for the entire stay and TV broken, and one of the staff was rather curt and unhelpful — but I wouldn’t not stay there for that reason alone!

Sweet gem in the heart of Trondheim

We loved our stay here. It's right in the middle of all the cool things in Trondheim and we walked everywhere we wanted to go. The people who work here are friendly, the breakfast is AMAZING, and the whole experience was great. It's an old building so don't expect a super modern hotel, and it's right in town so it's not the most quiet location, but everything else was perfect. We would defintely stay here again (I am missing the breakfast. Seriously. I could eat that every day of my life).

Great location and wonderful breakfasts

A converted historic bakery, this hotel has a lot of unique structural features. However, the rooms, general facilities, and services are all up-to-date. Our shower was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. There is no air conditioning (not normally an issue here). The breakfasts are huge and have every possible bread, egg, fruit, and meat accompaniment, as well as specialties like chia pudding & oatmeal.

Ett flott opphold på Bakeriet.

Jeg hadde ett meget fint opphold på ett flott og ærbødig, og historie--rikt hotell. Lokasjonen var perfekt og dog litt gjemt men lett å finne. Rommet var tilredsstillende, sengen var komfortabel. Elsket putene der noen var faste og noen mykere, alt ettersom hvordan smak på comfort en ønsket. Ett mindre problem var at d ikke var noen stikkkontakt i nærheten av senga til å kunne lade mobilen på nattbordet. Men d er bare pirk. Frokosten var veldig bra med ett godt og bredt utvalg. Satte pris på smilende og meget imøtekommende ansatte.
