Cozy Authentic Hungarian Hotel

Very quaint place to stay in Lake Balaton. Easy walk to some restaurants in the downtown area. Not many amenities like a traditional hotel with 24 hour guest services but still a good spot. We did see a few spiders in the room but everything else was very clean feeling.

Wonderful, Unique Stay

Such a wonderful little gem! Staying here was a unique experience, like stepping back in time. The accommodations are charming and authentic. The breakfast provided was quite a large spread and very hearty. When checking in, the room I'd booked was unavailable (apparently a discrepancy between Hotels.com and the actual business) but luckily I was upgraded at no additional cost.

A hidden gem

We were lucky to find this hidden gem of a hotel. Very old buildings with vaulted ceilings, thick walls, furnished with period pieces. Very modern bathroom and comfortable bed. The breakfast is perfect, if you can't find something you like something is wrong with you. All in all we loved the place.

Location affascinante.

La struttura è molto bella. Le casette tradizionali di cui è composta, immerse nel verde, la rendono davvero un posto speciale. Tuttavia la pulizia dell'appartamento che ci è stato assegnato non era eccellente, polvere sopra la travi e ragnatele nei vani delle finestre. Il personale gentile, in particolare l'addetta alla reception. Purtroppo essendo da sola i tempi per il check-in sono stati lunghi... abbiamo dovuto attendere più di mezz'ora! La colazione varia e abbondante anche per chi come noi preferisce il dolce. In complesso una buona esperienza.

Skuffende og dyrt rom. Vi dro to voksne og to barn på 10 og 7 år. Det hadde nesten lønt seg med to rom, istedenfor sovesofa. Rommet var ekstremt mørkt, kun et lite vindu og det var rått (ingen tørkemyligheter for våte badehåndklær). Hver morgen luktet det svært vondt fra kjøkkenet som lå rett under rommet. I tillegg var det en eim av kloakklukt i rommet. Fint bassengområde og ålreit frokost.
