Very nice little cottage in a great area. Updated on the inside and there’s even a common area that’s stocked with tea, coffee etc that provides a good area to sit and eat. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 3 nights. Loved how the towels and bed sheets had a lovely clean scent. The location is very convenient to access the airport, but we didnt hear any planes. It was very quiet and seeing the horses through the window every morning was lovely. Definitely recommend this place, and hope we can stay here again next time we visit Iceland.

It was perfect for one night before an early flight the next day. Check in was easy, the room was clean and spacious after spending 2 weeks in a tent. The kitchen facilities were excellent with hob, microwave, kettle, dishwasher and pots and pans etc. Everything you needed to cook a meal. There was lots of leftover food and gas canisters in the cupboards for you to use and food in the fridge. There was a ridiculous amount of jars of coffee that had been started but not used up! Great place to end your holiday (and if you started it here you would save a fortune on gas and food if you are planning to camp!)

Was nice but could be better

Seems like the place should be groomed with a weed eater. Stuff growing over the walkways. I use CPAP and there was not a plug in at what the host made the "head of the bed". I had to move the pillow to the other end of the bed, so I could plug in my equipment for sleeping. When you normally get up in the night to go to the bathroom, having an external bathroom is not convenient. The room looked and felt new and clean and it was close to the central kitchen area. We did not eat while we were there. Arrived 8:45pm and departed 8:45am

it was such a unique stay and felt so cozy. there is not to much to do in the area, so you should definietly arrive with a car. the bathrooms are in the main building where also the kitchen is. they had a great system for groceries - one fridge for everyone may take and one to place your things with nobody taking it.

This was a really nice, laid back stay. I would definitely come here again. It’s close to the airport as well as other sights to see. Not too far from many things, like the volcano, hiking, geothermal pools, historic sites, etc. There isn’t much going on in town this is in, but that’s okay! It’s peaceful and beautiful.
