tiny room but comfortable bed. Big enough for one person. Bathroom also tiny but adequate. Near the train station which was great. The included breakfast was fabulous ! Lots of choice including fried eggs, cheese, pancakes, etc.

The room was very small (the bathroom particularly, knocked my elbows a couple of times lol) as we knew it would be from the description, but it was totally adequate for the overnight stay we needed it for. Perfect location for the train station, shopping area and a short walk down to the waterfront. We could have our complimentary breakfast (of which there was good choice and tasty) at half 7 and still make it to the train station for our 8:12 departure to Voss. Staff really friendly and efficient.

Great stay!

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel! I was was totally prepared for the solo room (very tiny) and the bed was very comfortable. It was perfect for what I needed. Only reason it got four stars was bc there was no soap dispenser in the wash room for hands - there was in a different room on another stay - so I had to reach into the shower to use the wash in there every time! I would stay again without hesitation- the service was great at the front desk and the breakfast was stellar!!!

Compact but Convenient – Great Location & service

I stayed in a standard single room, which was very compact—just enough space to shower comfortably, and I’m not a big guy. That said, the room was spotless, with a good TV, fresh towels provided daily, and access to an ironing room on the third floor, which was a bonus for me. Breakfast was a highlight: excellent quality and plenty of variety. The staff were friendly and approachable throughout my stay. I especially appreciated their help with securely storing my laptop in the downstairs safe room each day. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, close to tram stops, the rail station, supermarkets, and loads of places to eat. I’d definitely stay here again, but next time I’d opt for a larger room. The standard single was just too tight for comfort.

Quite a small room and bathroom

The room was quite small, and the bathroom was hardly 2-3 square meters. The room has only one small window, which is not functioning properly. Therefore, the room was quite hot and suffocating.

Hotel location is excellent. It is within walking distance to major sights such as Karl Johans gate, Opera house, Munch museum, etc., Property also offers wonderful breakfast. They are serving lots of variety for guest to choose from. Only downside that we have from this hotel is thta rooms are a bit smaller although manageable enough not to feel claustrophobic. Overall, we had an excellent stay and highly recommend this property during your stay in Oslo.

Dishonest and Uncomfortable

We had pre-booked and prepaid through an outside booking agent. We had an in-flight medical emergency on our trip and half of our family had to deplane in another country. Knowing that our reservation was nonrefundable, I tried to check in to both rooms we had reserved because I had all the luggage for all 7 people in my family and 3 people with me. The staff denied my request and rebooked the second room for the next day when the rest of my family would arrive because they were overbooked on our arrival day. When I requested a refund through my booking company, citing I chose to check-in to both rooms and was denied, the hotel lied and said it was my choice to change the booking and refused a refund. The rooms are small and the AC doesn't work, making for a very uncomfortable stay when they cram 4 people to a room.

Convenient location downtown, but property to BOTH sides of the hotel were under heavy construction, making it impossible to get a quiet room. This was not disclosed prior to booking. Hallway noise was also an issue with how large the gap was at the bottom of the door. Due to construction fencing RIGHT at the front door, they had a temporary luggage ramp set up and was essentially just plywood; definitely too steep for a wheel chair if you needed one.

The location is perfect. A few minutes away from the train station and basically located in the city centre (the main church is literally down the street). The room was nice and clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable ones I’ve ever tried. However, the rooms are poorly isolated so you can hear EVERYTHING that happens in the other rooms. Noise from outside is also quite bad (and I was located at the back so not near any streets). The breakfast is really good but the room where it’s served is extremely small. There are a lot of people at any time and it was difficult to find a table (and even when u find it you fell pressured to leave as it’s very crowded and even difficult to go around the room). On my second day I tried 2 times to come down and have breakfast before being able to have a table, even if they ask you to choose a specific time slot to have it. Staff is nice and informative.
