Location was quiet and room was great. It was close to the pier but far enough away for a relaxed night.

The property is well maintained and quiet. The owners are vwry friendly and I liked that we could walk to the beach and not have to drive. Already booked our trip for next year.

The mattress was comfy. Mosquitos inside. Broken shade i had to put a papertowel in it to block anyone from looking in. Shower was cracked and not clean. Pacman machine joystick didnt work. I was given the wrong code to get in and i tried calling but went unanswered. Didnt respond until i text the number. Probably wont stay here again for the $100 they charged. The photos in the listing are for another room which looks like it has been updated.

The room was very nice and wasn't like a traditional motel room. It was very clean and had a nice ocean theme. The bathroom was a little small, as well as the shower's. But i would recommend staying there.

We stayed overnight to move my daughter into school…room was super cute!!! Could have been cleaned better and the bath mat was soaked but we made do and it was great for the price!!! AND Randy and his wife were super accommodating!!!

The location was good but the property needed a little love. New mattress, refesh of almost everything would be needed. But overall was satisfied.

8/10 Very good

The owner was very kind. The room was spacious. Full filled our 2 night stay. Wish it was cleaner. Could definitely walk to downtown old orchard if you were not lugging much. Its about a 20ish minute walk. The motel is near a busy road. Kind of noisy and you can see headlights in the window when cars go by. But it accommodated our needs fora short stay.
Sheri, 2-night trip

The property seems to be going through some renovations. Room was clean and staff was friendly. But, it was advertised as a standard studio with kitchenette - there were pans in the new cabinets, but no cooktop or toaster oven. Just a microwave, small refrig. and toaster. Location was good, walkable to see a performance at the Seaside Pavilion, and about a 15-20 min. walk to the beach.

Pacman studio

Check in was easy with combo lock. No need to check in at hotel. Room was average size with everything you would need for cooking. Has small sink fridge combo . Which I had never seen before. Room was average in size. if your looking for an inexpensive place to crash while your in town. It does the job. Quarter mile downhill to beach. The updates to make this look more oalita le were just pieces of wood going up the wall. Looked a lot better in pics. Big surprise was the Mrs pacman on the wall. Had a bit of fun till we realized the joystick does not move Mrs pacman down. Just up and side to side but still fun. Place was clean host was very nice. It is what it is. Nice place to stay in a budget.

Location is Excellent!!

We were late to make reservations for our family trip and honestly this was all that was left! It's quaint and the owners were very responsive and friendly. We visited Funtown Splash Town first then about a 9 minute drive later we were at this stay! Walking distance to the absolutely great beach of Old Orchard and it's pier!! Shower was smaller than my RV shower but hey it worked!! Mattress wasn't the greatest but I fell asleep! Overall happy.

2/10 Poor

We never stayed hardly could get in My confirmation said could check in at 2pm was told on phone not till 4pm the house attached is a private property with note to call people for info. It was the weirdest setup and most stressful setup couldn’t get any info I needed till just before 4pm and when finally got to see and check in it smelt like mold was freezing inside step one foot in and out I was already sick from stress off trying to make sure we had a place to stay with 2 kids and I had to find somewhere else to go was not going to make rest of family sick with mold or whatever that stench was. I was told we would be refunded but Expedia can’t seem to connect with them! However if you need a great place to stay only 30 mins away port inn in Kennebuck is great!

We never stayed. We were turned away because the property said we never registered which we did! So we lost the $185 deposit. I believe Expedia has proof of my payment. My card ended in 3320 Visa. I now have a new card if I can get my credit. Please help me with this and let me know. Thank you. Penny Tanner. We never stayed nor got our money back. That's the best I can do. PT

4/10 Fair

Not only is this property not kept well . The floors were sticky, there was a smell in the room and the bedding doesn’t look or smell clean. The man who runs the motel is rude and made me pay TWICE. The man states that expedia does not collect money though I was clearly charged when booking. Th Ed man states this happens often and gets into fights with guests. Horrible service.

4/10 Fair

While the motel was not the worst I’ve stayed in, it definitely was not what I expected from what it was advertised to be. When I booked the motel Expedia asked for a deposit which I gave, and said it would be taken off of the final price. When I checked in I was still charged the full price and the owner denied there being a deposit on Expedia. It turned out the deposit money was never taken out but I still ended up paying for than i had originally expected. In addition I found the owner to be very condescending and gave us some creepy vibes. Whenever he would see us he would ask if we got drunk or high then also remarked on how quiet we were which was just weird. End of the day nothing happened but I definitely didn’t feel super safe. The room itself was fine, not super clean but passable. The shower had some sand in it when we got there but that is to be expected at a beach motel. The location was a short walk to the beach but far enough away from the pier and town that it was not noisy.

Stay away and be sure to check your credit card!

When we got there the room we booked through Hotels.com wasn’t available because evidently they weren’t even open for the season yet so they moved us to another location which wasn’t open yet either but they had a room ready so they put us there. They also charged us again even though we had already paid and it’s been 7 days but we still haven’t gotten our refund. The room was okay but the bed was miserably uncomfortable. The person working there or the owner or whoever the person was sat on the front porch right by our window late in the evening taking very loudly on the phone using curse words. Later in the night we couldn’t possibly sleep for all the commotion going on upstairs which seemed odd since they technically weren’t open yet. The kicker of them all though was that we didn’t have heat in our room we could only turn the air conditioning up high so the cold air wouldn’t come on but you had to go out into the hallway to get a remote control to change the temperature and then put the remote back out in the hallway! By the way I know some may think we’re crazy to need heat in June but it was 50 degrees in Maine that morning. Stay away from this place. The gentleman who greeted us was very nice and informative and the young man that helped check us in was nice but everything else was the pits!
Charlotte, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The owners have put a lot of creativity into caring for this property! Every detail has been considered! There was even a small arcade in our room, which we enjoyed. Fun place within easy walking distance of the harbor.

Cheap but a little sketchy

Toilet was leaky, room was not ready during check in, smelled of mildew. At least no bedbugs.

Cheap Stay, get what ya pay for, would go again

Cheap little place for a couple nights. Company contact was in touch before your stay with check in info. Uses electronic door locks with codes, no keys to worry about I like that. It was my wife, 2 kids and myself. Room was good for just a couple nights. Not sure when trash day is, but all the barrels were full, even the "recycling barrels" were full of trash instead of recyclables. We were in unit 4, could use some new flooring/updating but it was serviceable. Had everything we needed for a couple nights. We would stay again, the price was what I expected for value and what you get. There is a dollar general down the road if you forget something, as well as a Walgreens. Mile walk to Pier or drive down, we drove and paid for parking. Biggest thing I didn't like, which others mentioned in reviews was the mandatory $35 fee for verification. It's just an added fee on top of the price, which I have never seen when booking hotels. It was still cheapest with the fee for our trip in the area.
