You get what you pay for

Aside from the noisy neighbor in the morning, it was an adequate stay. Decent for the price.

Stayed here one night. It’s clean, the manager bent over backwards to help us, and the amenities were nice, including toothbrushes for those who forgot them! I would stay here again.

I love the firepit and covered gazebo and the outside picnic tables. I love the old-time layout where we can drive up to the door of the room.

8/10 Very good

The property is reasonably well-kept and quite clean, with a comfortable bed. However, the fixtures in our room are old and seem barely functional, and the white paint on the walls and trim appears to be twenty layers thick. The parking was also quite tight. The people were quite nice and seem to be doing what they can to keep the old place going.
Kevin, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Being on the coast, it had a fish/clam cleaning station near the motel which came in handy and had all the the necessary items to clean up afterwards. It was in a gazebo with a raised fire place for BBQing or heating their crab pot with their firewood.

What we Expected for the Price

What we expected for the money. Reasonable rates for an average private motel. Old but clean and very comfortable. Very quiet area. Staff friendly.
Mary, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

All was just fine except room 10 definitely needs a new mattress.
John, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Really crappy customer service, had to wait for an hour for someone to check us in then they called and said to grab a key and they would be there the next day. Exhaust fan doesnt work in the cleaning hut, could definitely use some decent upgrades to the place and to the ownership
Adele, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Appreciated central location of property. Check in was awkward..no one was seen in the office the three days we were there except for one other guest. You must call a number posted on a paper at the desk to check in. We did that but were told a room number that was locked so we had to call the number again and were told to try the room next door. It seemed there was no staff on site so we didn't feel safe if any issues were to arise. Even though the sign out front boasts fruit and snacks it was quite limited with no fruit available. We did find our room quite clean and the road noise was minimal at night.
Marilyn, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

There was no one there at check in. Had to phone but no one answered the first phone call. They did answer the second time. I needed a shower chair and they were very good about having someone bring one so I was very happy with that. The shower was a bit tricky to get the temperature correct and I did end up running out of hot water after not a very long time.
