Perfect Stay in Lausanne - Chateau d'Ouchy

This was an amazing hotel in a beautiful location. We were here for a couple of days at the start of a longer European journey. This was the first stop after getting off a morning flight to Geneva. After we arrived by train from the airport, we arrived at the hotel early, so they took our bags and gave us some ideas on what to do that day. Our top things were the vineyard hike and the castle in Montreax. We received our complimentary pass and off for the day. When we returned later that evening, we received our keys and headed to the room. And wow!!! We had a lovely room with a balcony and an amazing view of Lac Lemon with mountains in the background. This was everything my girlfriend wanted for the experience. The slippers and robe were a great touch as well as the mini-bar being free with some orange juice, soda, water and Heineken. There is a nice outdoor pool and my girlfriend lover the sauna. The restaurant was excellent and we enjoyed a 3 hour dinner in style. Grossartiges Gebäude mit viel Geschichte. Trotzdem alles neu und modern. Extrem freundliches und hilfreiches Personal. Kusmi Tee und Minibar for free auf dem Zimmer.
