I enjoyed my stay here. Clean room, nice view overlooking the pool, quiet. It is centrally located so you can walk around and the beach isn’t far from the property. Complimentary breakfast was decent. I would stay here again.

It was nice. Only issue we had was the tub wouldn't hold water with the drain cap down. We really wanted a bath at that time, but shower was nice. No other complaints.

Fantastic stay at the Moringa resort. From the moment we arrived we felt looked after. The grounds and pool are lovely for relaxing. The breakfast was great, the selection of fruit was great. The pizza on an evening was also very tasty and they served a tasty white Sauvignon blanc. The room was comfortable and always clean. Ruth was especially helpful and she arranged our transfer from the airport. In terms of location there are some fab little restaurants and bars nearby and it’s only 100 peso tuk tuk ride from the centre of el nido. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is good but for the value it could
Use some upgrades. The area is pretty rough and the poverty around is stark. It’s definitely not in the city but in a more rural area.

So we stayed there for four nights.
In general, a very lovely place.
The staff is friendly. Like we experienced during our whole trip through different places in Philippines. The staff at the reception is also very helpful.
What we really liked was the open space gym, which had everything you need for a good workout.
Our room was very spacious and pretty. We liked it very much. They also cleaned it every day!
So what we didn’t like:
We spent 170 euro per night including breakfast. which is super high. What we expect is that everything should be like it says everywhere.
Unfortunately, we experienced different.
While the choices in the restaurant for breakfast are nice, sometimes there were parts missing of the order. We ordered Filipino breakfast and after second night they left out the salad part. On our last day there was no fruit station anymore in the morning. And the coffee is really really thin and not tasty.
And second we woke up several times all nights, since there is a rooster next to the hotel who starts his singing Programm early in the morning. I feel like the owner of the hotel should be able to tell neighbours to take care of this, since it has huge impact on the overall experience, if you are not able to sleep properly.
They were also doing some construction in the same building. But I think this should end at some point.
Otherwise, we would recommend to stay in this lovely place. But the price is just too high for what you get.

- Great location. Not located on the beach but within 5 mins to walk to Pops District which leads on to the beach. This is also a great location for food and watching the sunset. Would recommend Lions Lounge
-Nice resort, relaxing pool area, massage area and good amount of loungers.
- Friendly and very good customer service.
-Breakfast selection is varied with five different types e.g vegetarian, continental etc
- Staff very helpful and attentive.
- Lots of tricycles available outside.
- Good local eats.
My only complaint would be that we were bitten really badly for two nights which we think were caused by bed bugs. We had the room made up, sprayed the room but eventually had to change rooms for our last night. The staff did help to facilitate the change of room but the bites were pretty bad by that stage.
Recommend room 20 for a private sun lounger on the balcony and a jacuzzi. Room 23 for a great view of the pool and pizzeria.

Not a nice stay. The experience with one of the receptionists was disappointing. She seemed robotic, with a forced smile and lacked friendliness. On check-out, after returning from diving, we requested to use the shower and were only given beach towels instead of shower towels, which felt unnecessarily restrictive.
Additionally, we're 100 % sure that we forgot my expensive LAMER cream in a contact lens case in the room. When we returned after diving and asked the staff to help find it, they said they couldn't locate it—seems like it was just thrown away, which makes me very unhappy. Since they know we would come back to pick up our luggages and use the shower. Should the hotel just keep it and return to us or leave to the reception in case the client come back to pick it? Which means their room cleaner does not receive a proper training. So whoever stays with the hotel, suggest you not to forget anything, as they will just throw it away.

This was the most expensive hotel we stayed in during our trip in the Philippines but I have to say that is was the worst place. I guess that the disappointment comes from the price you pay and the fact that it is really a pretty place. You expect more in terms of service and maintenance. We arrived and there were mosquitoes in our room. After 3 days there, some of my clothes smelled of mold, as they took the smell of the room. Room was not done 1 day although we asked specifically for it. One evening water came out black. Breakfast was the “poorest” that we had during our 3-week-stay here. I think most of the disappointment comes from the price: if you pay so much, you expect something better. It was not a nightmare, it was an OK stay but we are not happy with what we paid.
