"The hotel is generally OK, but the reception service was very slow and the staff seemed unsure how to manage two separate bookings. The lobby bar was particularly disappointing. I ordered a gin-based cocktail exactly as listed on the menu, but it was made with Bacardi instead. When I queried why rum had been used in a gin cocktail and showed the bartender the menu, I was told that the menu was incorrect and that there was nothing they could do about it. To make matters worse, the drink appeared to contain only around half of a standard measure. Overall, a very disappointing experience and a real shame, as these issues could easily have been avoided."

"I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. When I had a flight cancellation, they were very understanding and acknowledged that I could check in the next day. The breakfast was very good and has a much better variety than most hotel breakfast options. The spa was delightful and a trip there with my friend for her 30th was worth it. Will be staying again!"

"We had an absolutely tremendous stay. The property was extremely well-located, right on the edge of Old Town but outside the hustle and bustle of the tourist area. Situated between two beautiful parks, and right on main walking (and bus, too, though we didn't utilize them) routes to the Art Nouveau district, the central market, and of course Old Town. Just about every major attraction we visited was within 15 minutes by foot. And the hotel itself was lovely -- our room (a superior double) was spacious, the staff was incredibly helpful, and the breakfast buffet was the nicest we've encountered, pretty much ever. Not extravagant or showy, but everything you'd want in a beautiful space, with indoor and outdoor seating. Can't recommend this hotel any more strongly."
