Rooms are clean and Max (front desk) was exceptionally friendly. breakfast was very good. While rooms look clean and great on photos, living without extra space where to hang clothes makes room messy in reality. Why not add some extra hooks in the bathroom? Or near the door? Our luggage was always open and no plave where to put it. Also adding mirror in the room or outside shower is useful. We had one mirror in the bathroom and it was not convinient.
A great place to stay... although it is indeed a hotel, it felt more like a b+b. Neri took good care of us and made excellent breakfasts every morning, served early when needed so that we could participate in tours. Great location and a wonderful place to stay.
The place is fantastic because the people who run it are so kind and accommodating....the rooms are spotless clean and modern and comfortable the people who run the place take hospitality to heart....I spotted this exotic tree with exotic fruits in the lovely garden in front of the hotel....I asked the lady what was that fruit she said guanabana....the next day after I got back from the tour the lady's daughter had guanabana peeled and sliced ready to eat for me in a bowl....the family who runs...
We had such a great stay here. The staff and service was top notch. Our room was always kept clean and we had a beautiful ocean view. Breakfast was delicious and they even offer to go breakfast, in case you leave before breakfast hours. The location is ideal- steps away from all the restaurants, shops and beaches. I would love to stay here again!
I liked being able to immediately walk out to swim with the sea lions.
I had to get used to asking for face clothes; something that is apparently not part of this culture.
The restaurant should label the items on the breakfast bar.

We stayed at Hostal Gosén for a couple of days at the end of our stay in Galapagos. The owner was very friendly and helped with arranging the tours. The rooms were nice and comfortable. There is a great bakery and a laundry place on the same block. It was very close to town too and really economical too.
Eduarado was absolutely amazing! As was the rest of the team! Breakfast was delicious, everyone was so kind and welcoming. I unfortunately got sick on our vacation and the team made me tea to help me feel better and would ask my husband how I was doing. They were so caring and lovely!
