"Lägenheten låg väldigt bra till, nära stranden och gamla stan. Ca 2 min att gå till stranden, 10 till centrum av gamla stan. Vi blev dock väldigt förvånade och först besvikna över alla mönniskor på stranden. Men när vi letat ut oss till klipporna så kom vi att ha de finaste baddagarna under våra 10 dagar i Kroatien. "

"Overall this place was a bit of a disappointment. The whole resort is a bit sad and outdated. However the location is great and the views are stunning! I think the place relies on that to keep people coming back. The food was distinctly below average. The service is overall quite poor apart from one member of staff who checked us in at reception. (Really helpful guy with a shaved head). Didn’t get his name unfortunately but he is carrying his colleagues in terms of customer service. Went above...

"They upgraded our room so we had a mini suite and it was nice. Beachfront is difficult to enter the water. Go to the beach to the left as you face the water. Pool is very small for a larger resort. Buffet had a lot of choices but the a lot of the same food for all three meals (many breakfast items that we would consider lunch or dinner). Most buffet hot items were cold by the time you served yourself, even if you were there at the start. We enjoyed the wine on tap! Biggest issue for us is...

"We had an amazing stay at Villa Valentina. Location was great with just a very short walk to the port of Bol. The pool area were a great place to relax and go for a swim to cool down.

You can stroll along Makarska Ferry Port for relaxing water views when you're in Makarska Old Town. If you carry on walking you'll get to Makarska Beach for some more water views.
