Hotels in Fitzroy Island

We really enjoyed our stay on green island at the resort. The hotel facilities are very nice and the room is very comfortable. We enjoyed the complimentary activities such as the nature walk, fish feeding, glass bottom boat tour, and the welcome drinks. Although the island is busy during the day from visitors on tours, after 4:30 when they leave it is once again becomes a secluded haven.

We stayed in a king suite that overlooked the marina and esplanade. The view was well worth the extra. We enjoyed our room and the extras that came with it. Access to private lounge that included a large buffet breakfast and 2 hour happy hour every day for both of us was clearly worth the upgrade. Location was very close to good restaurants and walking distance to everything. Both location and accommodations were safe and well maintained. Highly recommend!

Awesome staff, no complaints

So amazing hotel. Great place, heavenly turquoise water. Such a beautiful beach. Food is good but a little bit expensive, there is only 1 restaurant and Bar. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms looks very posh, clean and tidy. Most important WIFI access in every place around the hotel.

Great for a family stay, particularly if you have younger children that will want to spend time in the pool. The hotel is a bit away from the more bustling parts of Cairns, but we were able to get picked up for some of the tours we took. Otherwise, it is a quick Uber to anywhere you want to go.

The property location was great. The room was big, clean with the view to the bay. Loved the stay there

My only issue is that I found the layout to be horrendous. I was there for 3 days and only on the last day was I able to easily find my building cluster. You can't see the layout diagram from your vehicle. Just a very poorly planned development. Did love the scenic overlook and the supermarket/ post office facilities.

Excellent location in nice, quiet residential area in natural setting (you can hear and see the birds), near a walkpath alongside Lily Creek and John Egan public park. Shortcut on Charles St to access McLeod or Sheridan (Captain Cook Hwy). Short walk to Martyn and Shearer St bus stop for #123, which accesses 3 shopping center (Piccone's, Raintrees and Cairns Central, which is the end of the line), each has a supermarket, otherwise, check out kiosk at reception. Clean, quiet, great breakfast, great location for aquarium, Reef Center, and many dining options

Staying at this condo was a great experience. Apartment amenities were fantastic, and the view of the Coral Sea was gorgeous!

An excellent affordable stay which goes above and beyond with amenities and effort. As long as you are fine with a little noise this is an excellent stay!

Felt very welcome, room clean and spacious. They were having roofing work carried out while we were there which started early but wasn’t an inconvenience. Pub/restaurant right next door was useful but we didn’t use it.

This is an excellent location. Minutes from the marina, aquarium (well worth the visit) and shopping. There are a lot of great upgrades and this is very clean. The staff was ultra friendly and could not have been more accommodating. This is truly a mom and pop 5 star hotel, and make sure you engage with Peter. You will feel the pride and caring he has in his hotel.
