"This is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. Located in Wendake on urban indigenous reserves of the Wendake (Huron-Algonquin) people it is a fantastic immersion in their culture. The hotel is home to the Musee de Premieres Nations and the La Traite restaurant. Our room featured two king sized beds - why you need two is beyond me - and had wonderful amenities. The bathroom was clean and the shower had great pressure. The entire hotel complex is a celebration and education of Wendake history and culture. The lobby and hotel bar features a lot of wood and tasteful taxidermy. The room numbers are painted on buckskin. Lots of cool little touches like that. Staff are helpful and friendly and very welcoming. The lobby features a bar and a few nice tables with a view of the forest nearby. There is also the ticket booth for the Museum, and access to the stairs down to the hotel restaurant. More on that in another review. The grounds feature a full size reconstruction of a Wendake longhouse, which is very cool. The museum is well worth the admission cost and very informative. The hotel is very posh and confortable. Can't recommend it more highly."

"Everything was perfect except the front desk did not warn us about the garage was not suitable for suv cars. They told me it was fine to park in the garage and the top got scratched with the pipes in the garage ceiling."
