"I didn’t go to Myoko to sit in a hotel room, so this place was perfect. Comfy beds in a small room. Very dorm room style. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

"I knew I wanted to snowboard at Lotte Arai Resort but I read that it was in a very small town and basically only the resort buildings so i picked this spot because they offered a free shuttle to the nearby mountains. (Not Lotte though its a 40 minute drive and I had to get a separate bus. It was very easy though and the owner was able to help me figure it all out. If you do that route bring cash, it costs 2,000 jpy one way).

"My new hubby and I stayed here for a few nights for skiing. Overall had a good time the rooms were spacious, clean and tidy and right outside of the ski slope. However no where on the booking told us that there were no currency exchange options or ATM in the hotel. Luckily we had the exact amount of money otherwise we would’ve had to bus it back to a main area (20-40mins) to get cash to hire our ski gear. There’s minimal food options around the area however the hotel had a buffet Brekky/dinner...
