Wichita Falls, Texas has more to offer than its 100,000 population would lead you to believe. Midwestern State University is a beautiful institution on the southwest side of town. Downtown is showing some preliminary indications towards revive.

Wichita Falls has good food and entertainment options without having to go into a big metropolitan area. Laid back and pleasant.

Not much night entertainment. We went to ArrowHead State Park. Nature Preserve, Casinos (25 min. drive), miniature golf (5 min. from hotel) but not impressed with course. There are no escape room/comedy clubs. They could step up the entertainment.

My parents were stationed at Sheppard AFB years ago. We lived in Burkburnett so this was a bit nostalgic for me. Seeing Sikes Senter Mall brought back so many memories.I really enjoyed myself.

Born and raised there, not much has changed. Came Back to bury my father who passed away. Overall I enjoyed my stay But I would pick someplace that had a more comfortable temperature give it was triple digits.

I like the quiet town setting. Not over populated and most things are easy to get to. Still - not many activities to do there which isnt bad at all actually.

AA flies in there only one flight from Dallas and it arrives at 10 pm. Car rental agencies should open for that one time.

"Great hotel! For our stop back to Houston from Colorado, Wichita Falls was a great stopping point and this hotel was great. Dog friendly and even has a dog park in the back which is more than the small patch of grass at most hotels. Very friendly staff and clean, nice hotel. Nice bfast also. Safe and close to places to eat and stores. No complaints"
"Our stay at Tru was great. We arrived earlier than planned and the front desk ladies were more than accommodating to get us in a room quickly so we could hurry to the softball fields for our daughter's tournament. The room was clean, smelled nice, had plenty of lighting, large flat screen t.v. welcoming us by name, and the shampoo/conditioner/body wash options were full and pleasantly scented. There were several options for entertainment if desired such as the outdoor pool with an additional hang out/fire pit area and an indoor pool table/game room. The continental breakfast was full of options, both hot and cold. Oatmeal, muffins, cereal, pancakes, eggs and bacon, fruit, and build your own breakfast sandwich. Everything stayed stocked and tidy. Staff was friendly and helpful all weekend. Really great stay and if we are back in Wichita Falls, we will be booking at Tru!"
"Great place to stay!! Staff is friendly, room was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was great! They had options for everyone!! We would definitely stay here again!!!"
"This was my first time taking my granddaughter with me. When checking in, she mentioned she was thirsty, so i was just looking about for a water stand, and the lady checking me in promptly handed over a bottle of water, mentioning that it was her own, but she was about to go home. So not only was she nice, she was nice to a little girl, AT THE END OF HER SHIFT, on a busy Friday late. We had just driven to texas from Illinois, so we're tired and grumpy ourselves, but this kind gesture made our end of trip amazing. I wish i had gotten her name, but she deserves some recognition. "
