An amazingly well-preserved downtown, lots of historic buildings, and lots of things to see and do! Really enjoyed the storybook sculptures throughout the downtown area...very unique and charming!

This is the fourth city in TX that I have been in since September 16, 2024 and so far my favorite city because it's just the right size, not too big and not too small, and actually willing to help this homeless person fleeing an abusive Husband.

I enjoy going to Abilene. We live in a small town so going there with so many different choices is fun. Big enough city to find what you want and small enough to not feel like it's a different world with everyone trying to run over you

Abilene seems like a small town but is actually pretty big! Definitely recommend having a car for the town since everything is close when driving but not necessarily close to walk to.

It's my hometown. We had mixed feelings about the growth Southward with the decaying middle of town neighborhoods. Downtown is great.
