The Topeka Zoo, although small, had some excellent attractions and was easy to traverse. The Brown vs Board of Education Museum was fascinating. A tour of the State Capitol building is free and well worth the time.

I have family in Topeka & visit as often as I can. In any city of that size, one must be aware of their surroundings & people. That said, I don't have any trouble whenever I'm there; though, I DO see the concerns others have expressed.

"Comfortable room. The included breakfast has a very limited menu...we selected the breakfast sandwich and it was good. Much prefer a buffet. Great restaurants in the area. "
