There is a fantastic art museum right next door to the hostel, with both a permanent collection gallery and a rotating exhibit gallery. A gentle 10 minute walk is a nice little main street with shops and cafes and restaurants.

SOMA district was a cool area to spend an afternoon exploring. Vino's had a very good calzone and decent brews with an old Deep Ellum (Dallas) vibe and Dugan's Pub is worth checking out as well.

I did not get to spend much time, but I loved the trees and the artistic vibe from all the buildings, ie the fire house a stayed at, the art museum, the churches, and the small streets. Some of these may have just been outside the city.

For the brief area we were in, the market area, we were very impressed on what Little Rock has done. To be honest, we were told to stay away but im glad we went. Only for a one night stay but we will be back!

Great place to stay if you are there for a concert. Close to Simmons Bank Arena and First Security Amphitheater. Plenty of local eateries to choose from in the surrounding area.

I live in a small town, so the busy part of Little Rock is not my favorite but it's a nice place to visit. The streets could use some repair in a lot of locations.

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the most memorable part of my trip was the kind and hospitable positive attitude and assistance that I received from Darryl who was working at the front desk during my departure. I wish more people exemplified Darryl’s amazing customer service and friendly spirit. "
