Monterey is one of our yearly "get out of town" get aways. I love the area. Full of activities. Biking, hiking, exploring, kayaking, and lots of nature to be observed. There seems to be something for everyone in this area. (Laguna Seca - MotoAmerica)

Absolutely love Monterey! If you love wildlife and the water you will definitely see sea lions, and cute sea otters while having a yummy bowl of chowder at the many restaurants in the area that are on the ocean and even while walking along the trail.

Great city with a significant history as Monterey was once the capital of CA. The setting in some of John Steinbeck's novels. The best attraction is the aquarium. Good seafood and scenery. Near to Carmel by the sea and Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach.

Amazing trip. We've gone whale watching and kayaking at Moss Point. We saw humpback whales and when kayak in the Elkhorn Slough there were lots and lots of otters and seals.

Whale watching tour! Dozens of whales. Loved learning about sea life from the boat tour staff. Discovery Wale Watch was the charter we took. Great experience!
"It was a wonderful night at the hotel. The beds are very comfortable. The ocean air at night is amazing. Everyone got a good night’s sleep — both us and our kids. The room was clean, which is a very important factor for us when choosing a hotel.
One of the nicest surprises was that, although the booking said the room had only one bed and a sofa, there were actually two beds — the second one pulled out from the wall.
We can confidently recommend this hotel!
