"This experience was all I had hoped for and more than I expected! I wanted to feel like we were part of our surroundings while having the luxury of a comfy bed and a full bathroom. The safaris every evening and every morning were exciting and rewarding with all of the big 5 either on the hunt, after the kill, or so close that their presence was surreal! The bonuses of our stay were the wonderful staff and the impressive meals. Dinners beside an open fire for just the two of us, extraordinary...

"Rooms are old and uncomfortable, beds need to be replaced, equipment is broken and not replaced.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, but our overall view of the facility was of poor quality. "

After a 3.5hr drive from Jberg with mostly highway but around 30km of dirt track we arrived at Letamo initially, the sister lodge. Make sure to book with a reputable transfer company as the dirt track is a challenging drive. After a beer in the bar at Letamo our dedicated ranger Sam picked us up in the land cruiser and took us over to Babohi, it was quite a nice touch to get a transfer over to Babohi with our guide and become acquainted. "The location here is wrong. It is actually 1 hour away from the one provided herewith the booking confirmation. That 1 hour becomes 1 hours 45 minutes when hit the 40 plus kilometers of bad gravel road.
Otherwise. Great hosts, food not so great, breakfast is awesome and buffet, nice animals, wifi router in the room. "

On our first night we had an open air dinner prepared by the chef and staff, it was amazing!
We most definately recommend a stay at this 5 star lodge it will be an experience you'll never forget.
