Learn more about Kinsale
Colorful buildings hug the harbor in this historic port town, where fishing boats bob alongside sleek yachts. Charles Fort, a massive star-shaped fortress, offers panoramic views of the strategically vital bay. Narrow streets reveal artisan shops and galleries between award-winning restaurants that have earned this small town its culinary reputation. Desmond Castle stands as a reminder of medieval power before becoming the 'French Prison.' James Fort provides the perfect sunset perch across the harbor. The Old Head Golf Links stretches dramatically along nearby clifftops. Duck into a pub where live music and fresh seafood chowder await after exploring the Ringfinnan Garden. Summer brings sailing regattas that transform the harbor into a canvas of billowing sails.

Blue Haven Hotel
"I booked two separate rooms for this trip. When one of the rooms I booked did not have separate beds for my daughter and grandmother the hotel made arrangements with a sister property down the street, saved the Stay!"

"Great"
Kinsale Hotel & Spa
"We spent only one night in Kinsale hotel and spa. The room was specious and the views were spectacular. We stayed in the harbor view room. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to visit the spa but it looked amazing. Breakfast was great with so many options in it. The staff was who made this one night stay so good, friendly, helpful and cheerful. I couldn’t fault them. The only negative for this hotel that you need a car to go to the city. It is close but you can’t walk it because it is a bit away from anything. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the city but you need to book a taxi to come back. You need at least an hr to be able to get a taxi so make sure you pre-book your way back. The toilet floor seems to be noisy when walking over it. Other than that everything was perfect. I wish I had more time in Kinsale to enjoy the hotel and its views further."
Trident Hotel

Actons Hotel

The Post House
"Good communication from host to start with - but when I asked a question - no response. Bed was a sleigh style - so at 6'4" - I was not able to stretch out. Parking no so clear... carpark next to room is a 2hour limit carpark. There is a free one just below. Which we worked out"
