Beautiful campus, great city if you are a Tar Heel fan! E. Franklin St is the place to be for fun, food and souvenirs, just don't speed. The police love writing tickets for going just one mile over the speed limit, waste of the court's time!

My in-laws used to here and we were passing through. It has changed and grown so much, feeling more like a city and less like a small University town. Still interesting restaurants to be found, but just too crowded for me now.

There are a lot of people on bicycles and on foot at any given time. Drivers need to always look left and right before they pass through an intersection. And that is fairly different than my neck of the woods.

"This property was boutique and beautiful but had the customer service of the brand hotel (Hyatt). The staff was friendly and attentive. We had a minor maintenance issue but they went above and beyond to fix it and quickly. They bumped us up to a nicer room. We enjoyed our stay and will return next time we are in the area. "
"I really like this property and the staff is always wonderful. My only complaint is that they have discontinued their afternoon cookies, free parking, and self-pour half and half at breakfast. Those small touches have always made it a little more special. This my fifth stay and I was sad to see the changes. I always choose Hilton as a Hilton honors member, and it is discouraging when amenities are downgraded."
"Clean, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast range, and just a pleasant stay overall. Even though the elevators were down at the time due to maintenance, they were able to accommodate me by getting me a room on the first floor. They didn't have a rollaway available, but everyone was still comfortable. Overall it was still a great experience. I will be staying there again. "

"Very nice property. Reminded me of a New Mexican adobe with beautiful decorations.
Like having coffee available all the time in the lobby. Suggest maybe having flavored creamers. One other thing is the commode is very, very low. Maybe consider changing those out.
Overall, enjoyed our stay very much."
