Cute downtown with unique shops and restaurants. Coffee shops, a book store and a great candy store. The movie Groundhog Day was filmed here. They capitalize on that nicely without overkill. We LOVED Woodstock. Public House is wonderful for dinner.

Woodstock, IL has a really cute and active town square. Lots of restaurants and cute shops. We were in town to see a favorite musician at the Opera House.

Great little town but sorely lacking hotels with decent, clean, affordable rooms.
"We found the property to be in prime condition, completely renovated, although probably originally built in the 1960s. The staff was amazingly supportive and helpful. Our trip there was for seven days and we only used our car twice in that time. Perfect place for walking to the downtown! "
"Such a beautiful hotel for family or couples! Comfortable vibe, good food, and great views. The staff is all so kind. I enjoyed the how they refreshed the hotel but kept the lake and old time feel! "
